ROCK CLIMBING AND ABSEILING

Half day climbing and Abseiling from £45pp including lunch and all equipment,even waterproofs if required!

We are fortunate to have a lot of rock close to our centre and so we can offer a fantastic experience tailored to your individual requirement,and if it rains we have the biggest indoor climbing wall in North East Wales at our disposal at no extra cost! Two days in Snowdonia on the real thing!

May to September

This brief but intense course is aimed at wall climbers aspiring to move on to the thrills of real rock.

Over the two days you will be under the supervision of an instructor with over 30 years climbing experience.

The syllabus covers the following

Route selection
Gear selection
Ropework
Belays
Gear placement.(Placing traditional protection)
Route finding
Descending inc Abseiling
Ethics and history

This course is for a minimum of 2 and operates on a ratio of 2 clients to 1 instructor

Cost £150.00 pp Booking early is essential and mid week bookings are available

Scrambling in Snowdonia

Year round

Scrambling is the fine line between more technical walking and easy rock climbing .

If you've managed the North ridge on Tryfan for example and you want to push it a bit more then this is the course for you . The techniques employed are basically an Alpine style of climbing.

Ropework inc moving together
Belays inc direct belays
Gear placement.(Placing traditional protection)
Route finding
Descending inc Abseiling
