Nick is one of the finest climber that Britain has ever produced with decades of experience at the highest level, and he is still producing new trad routes at E9.He has so many first ascents they are to numerous to mention. He has never courted publicity, he just climbs! We are really very pleased that he has agreed to offer this series of master classes. Cost £75.00pp in total. Our new copyrighted concept the Re-Ply(TM) wall system gives all the versatility of a ply panel indoor wall system without the worry of rotting timber and regular coats of paint. Re-Ply(TM) wont ever rot and what's more its a recycled plastic made in the UK.Move holds around as often as you like. Your school bouldering wall will always be fresh and challenging.

NICAS at Plas Power Course starts 11th Dec
We are now an awarding centre for The National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme (NICAS).This is a wonderful new scheme aimed at young people from 7 years up. The 10 week courses will start from 11th Dec and run every Friday from 7pm-9pm Total course fee is £50 pp(which is payable in full at first session)this will include a log book and certificates all equipment and instruction. More bouldering at PP
The extension to the Ben Moon training board is complete and we have given it a Graffitti paintjob over half term. The work has more than doubled the size of this part of our wall.This is just phase one of a massive expansion programme which will add in the region of 1000 sq ft of extra dedicated bouldering .
Plas Power climbing centre near Wrexham relocated from Chester in 2006 and is the biggest and most popular climbing wall in N E Wales with over 6000 sq ft of climbing with sections of wall to suit everyone from novice to expert.Climbing is what we do !!
Climbing is one of the most natural human instincts and children have that ability shortly after or even before they learn to walk,sadly this abilty is often lost, in many cases no thanks to adults.
The 4 year old pictured below didn't need any directions he could JUST DO IT !and his mother and grandmother were astonished.
However we cater for much more than climbing as you can see !
With over 60 acre of land it's a lot more than just a climbing wall.
Why not get the family together or a group of friends and try the Ropes course ....
Unlike many courses our's is designed to build team work skills and trust and includes the following elements
High all aboard (4 close friends on a platform the size of a Tea tray ,10m up )
Jacobs ladder
Leap of faith
100 ft Zip wire (very fast)
Abseil platform
Crate climb/race
The Zip wire is very fast!
Getting up there is only half the
fun! They don't call it Leap of faith for nothing!
Archery may be less energetic but it's still great fun!
After burning all that energy ,there's the cafe !
All locally sourced produce, freshly cooked.Choose from kids party food to butties made with local Welsh bacon or Panninis with Pesto and olives and freshly ground Coffee or herbal teas. Last but not least our famous homemade Chocolate flapjacks. Don't forget we have wireless broadband, so you can work and play.
